The XXII International N Workshop 2024 in Aarhus set to tackle the global nitrogen dilemma
Aarhus University is gearing up to host the XXII International N Workshop on 17th to 21st June 2024, bringing together global experts to confront the pressing issue of the global nitrogen dilemma. With the theme "Resolving the Global Nitrogen Dilemma - Opportunities and Challenges," the five-day conference aims to explore the delicate balance between managing nitrogen inputs for crop productivity and nutrition and mitigating nitrogen losses to safeguard the environment and ensure food security.
The conference, organised by a committee from Aarhus University, including Diego Abalos, Jørgen E. Olesen, Klaus Butterbach-Bahl, and Hanne Lakkenborg Kristensen, promises an intellectually stimulating program. Participants will delve into six regular and three special sessions, featuring seven compelling keynote presentations and two engaging roundtable discussions. Field trials and research facility visits will provide a practical dimension to the discussions. You can see the preliminary program here.
