As in previous years, the annual report is published to inform about the research efforts behind Aarhus University’s policy support within the agricultural and food areas. The articles provide insight into how collaboration across departments as well as between researchers and the industry contributes to strengthening the basis for making important societal decisions.
- Denmark is exceptional in that Aarhus University can carry out coherent, problem-solving research covering the entire agricultural and food sector, i.e. research that can connect crop cultivation, environmental impact, animal production and food quality. Such interdisciplinary and interconnected research is hard to find in other places, says Director Niels Halberg, DCA – Danish Centre for Food and Agriculture.
It is our vision that the articles will inspire interest and understanding for both research and policy support efforts.
