I have contributed to building AUs research area in Life Cycle Assessment of food, LCA. 

I contribute to building an understanding of European (and global) Food Systems and their internal interactions and interdependencies in dietary, health, climate and environmental outcomes. FutureFoodS ; Home - FOODPathS. 

I am co-chair of the SCAR SWG FOOD: Mission and aims. 

I coordinate European projects in support of the HE Mission soil (Prepsoil, Nati00ns) and development of Living Labs. Prepsoil | Preparing the EU Mission towards healthy soils. 

I the chair the board of programme managers of the EU partnership on climate and soil, EJPSoil. EJP SOIL - Towards climate-smart sustainable management of agricultural soils. 

I have plus 10 years experience in organizing science based advice to public authorities and private customers in the area of Food and Agriculture and have contributed to implementing AUs  quality assurance system. I have initiated trans-European collaboration on science advice - principles and practices - as part of the Ghent Group - A community on Science-based advice in the fields of agriculture and environmen

I contribute to trans-European initiatives on strengthening collaboration in science advice: FoodPathS, Agroecology Partnership and FutureFoodS.
