I am a senior consultant with a long proven track record (+15 years) as project manager and research fellow on EU-funded projects (HorizonEurope; Horizon2020; Erasmus+ (KAs, SPs, CAs), 6+7 FP) in the agrifood sector. As project manager, I am very experienced in planning (including writing successful proposals), implementing, evaluating and monitoring; and disseminating and exploiting project outcomes. As a research fellow, I thrive in developing and operationalising stakeholder engagement; facilitating learning and skill development (action-learning and action-research); and evaluating outcomes using social science research methods.
In particular, I have extensive experience in: applying the multi-actor approach aligned with Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) to enhance the relevance, reliability, and societal impact of research and innovation processes; - facilitating the active involvement of diverse stakeholders, including researchers, practitioners, industry representatives, public authorities, civil society, and end-users; - ensuring demand-driven project design by aligning objectives and activities with the needs, challenges, and opportunities of end-users; - developing and supporting co-creation processes, integrating both scientific knowledge and practical expertise to generate applicable and innovative solutions;- - designing and implementing knowledge exchange activities, enabling cross-sector collaboration and effective sharing of tacit and experiential knowledge; - contributing to the creation of interdisciplinary consortia, ensuring a balanced mix of competencies (scientific, technical, and practical); - strengthening innovation uptake and scalability through cross-fertilisation of ideas, skills, and expertise across stakeholder groups; - applying appropriate facilitation methods and engagement strategies to support multi-actor collaboration throughout the full project lifecycle (planning, implementation, dissemination, and exploitation); and -delivering practical, user-oriented outputs, including tools, approaches, and solutions that are accessible, understandable, and ready for real-world application.
