Join the XXII N Workshop in Aarhus from June 17th to 21st, 2024. Aarhus University will be host, when experts from around the world to address the challenge posed by the global nitrogen dilemma. The conference, titled "Resolving the Global Nitrogen Dilemma - Opportunities and Challenges," aims to strike a balanced approach between improving nitrogen content in crop production and nutrition while limiting nitrogen loss to protect the environment and ensure food security.

The conference offers an intellectually stimulating program where participants will be part of six regular and three special sessions. There will be seven inspiring keynote presentations and two engaging roundtable discussions. The experience will be enriched by the opportunity to visit field trials and research facilities, adding a practical dimension to the discussions.

Keynote presentations will feature experts such as Wim de Vries from Wageningen University, Ute Skiba from the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, and Adrian Leip from the European Commission. They will cover topics ranging from spatial variation in nitrogen impacts to the role of nitrogen in food systems and the transformation of the bioeconomy. Find more about all our keynotes here.

Want to contribute?

You have the opportunity to contribute to the conference as well. We invite researchers from around the world to submit an abstract for review by the conference's Scientific Committee. The deadline for submission is March 15, 2024. You can submit your abstract here.
