DCA – Danish Centre for Food and Agriculture strongly focuses on cooperation, expert advice and research-based public-sector consultancy at an international level and is represented in various correlations.
Via the cooperation with AU Research and Talent Development the university’s food and agricultural areas are very active in established as well as emerging networks and initiatives such as the Sino-Danish Centre, the “Building Stronger Universities” programme initiated by Universities Denmark, The Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural University (NOVA), the Erasmus Mundus programme, European interest groups focusing on cooperation with developing countries such as European Forum for Agricultural Research (EFARD) and Agrinatura as well as in relation to Danida.
DCA – Danish Centre for Food and Agriculture is represented in a number of European networks, primarily concerned with European research policies within the fields of agriculture and food.
The aim is to limit the fragmentation of European research efforts, to strengthen resources and agree on joint research priorities.
DCA participates in the projects mentioned below with a view to providing new specific knowledge to the benefit of authorities as well as society.
DCA is part of the ERA-Net FACCE SURPLUS. The overall objectives of the programme is to improve collaboration and cooperation across the European Research Area in the fields of diverse, but integrated, food and non-food biomass production.
